Doctoral graduates’ academic Salon of Theoretical economics was held by China Center for Special Economic Zones Research on Oct 30, 2013. The doctoral graduates, including Zhong Wuya, Ji Chao have been presenting their dissertation with the title of《a prediction technique of employed population based on productivity of labor》、《Korean economic growth and transition embed in historical situation: 1961-2011》. Prof. Tao Yitao, Prof. Lu Zhiguo and Prof. Yuan Yiming also took part in the saloon for deep instruction.
In《a prediction technique of employed population based on productivity of labor》, Zhong Wuya
believes that the change of population scale is a common social status and economic growth and urbanization may exacerbate the population mobility. As for Zhong Wuya ‘s theory, Prof.Tao pointed out that he has done some useful exploration, but he also needs to combine assumptions and applications.
In 《Korean economic growth and transition embed in historical situation: 1961-2011》, Ji Chao believes that the experience of 51-year’s economic growth in Korea provides a good example to China. She summarized the stories of two stages in Korea from existing literature: economic growth period ( 1961-1990 ) and economic transformation period(1991-2011). Prof.Tao suggested she should consider the different political backgrounds between China and Korea.
